When is mobile broadband the best choice?

Mobile broadband is ubiquitous in the UK now and there have certainly been many benefits from the deployment of the technology. However, the question is, when is mobile broadband the best choice for users of smartphones, tablets or mobiles over-the-air?

The biggest mobile network operator in the UK, EE, recently launched its 4G service and has been advertising heavily on buses saying it is available in around 30 locations.

It recently reported that over 95% of phones were capable of taking on 4G and that in the first two weeks of the network, more than two million 4G devices were sold.

In its first six weeks on the market, EE says it has already attracted around 8 million customers.

While mobile broadband has had a steady rise in popularity, it has certainly not been without obstacles.
