When is mobile broadband the best choice?

I’ve been a long time supporter of Verizon’s LTE network and have had it since Verizon’s first announcement of the platform back in the Spring of 2010. After the first two networks announced their plans they have both had multiple upgrades and enhancements to their existing network. Verizon is on track for 100Mbps download by year’s end and is making it easier for users to take advantage of the capabilities of this broadband speed. However the next two networks to announce their plans both claim to offer download speeds that are significantly faster. AT&T’s new and improved LTE network offers a reported speed of 75Mbps to 90Mbps while T-Mobile is claiming that their HSPA+ network, which they dub “LTE,” actually offers 100 Mbps plus download.

Which network will give you the best service? It is a fair question.
